Quetzacóatl repeats a zoomorphic myth from his ancestral Aztec culture. The intimate and personal act of creation gives rise to the sculptural imagination, where it takes on corporeality in matter. First on the surface and inwards, as it is from this depth that the new form begins to be born, always leaving traces, imprints of imagination, traces and facets of his sculpture that will never be erased.
The Mexican artist has approached his self-reflected and schematic undulating figuration with the awareness that not only does it decorate, but that it can also construct the space in which it is erected.
